LOVE FOR IMPERFECT THINGS - HAEMIN SUNIM (BOOK REVIEW)

Hi and assalamualaikum all, how are you doing today? I hope you are in a good mood today cause it's a good day to have a good day!πŸ˜„(eventho it's 3:20 am now). So, as you can read title above, in this post, again..I'm gonna review a book that I have read during MCO 1.0 last year. It's a self-help book.

Love For Imperfect Things : How To Accept Yourself in a World Striving for Perfection, first published was in 2018. It's a #1 internationally bestselling book of spiritual wisdom about learning to love ourselves with all our imperfections by the Buddhist author. This book is a combination of a story and poems. The author begins every chapter with a short story and then continue with deep poems.

If you are looking for a self-help book to restart your life, highly recommend this book. This book will help you heal from negative thoughts. Haemin Sunim divided this book into 8 chapters. Each one sheds some light on different subjects. The way the book has been set up is also beautifully done.

The first chapter is talking about yourself, after which family, empathy and relations are covered. Then, the author writes about courage, healing, enlightenment and finally acceptation. The book is filled to the brim with wisdom and the colourful illustrations and also beautiful quotes make you want to pick this book just to read couple of quotes.

It's such a wonderful book! I think a lot of people will get benefit from reading this book. It makes you see things from a different perspective and also can give you a comfort. We are not perfect and we live in an imperfect world but we have to try and find the good in all things because it is out there, if you stop and look for it. Happy reading!

(To make it short, I love this book and marked as one of my favorite self-help book πŸ’—)
